The Sydney Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC) is the only place in Australia where someone can inject drugs legally, under the supervision of trained clinical staff. ‘Cross Currents’ traces the story of the battle to open and continue operation of the MSIC, from the early years of campaigning to get it on the political agenda, to the decade of trials that followed.
