Governance and Structure
UnitingCare NSW.ACT reports to the UnitingCare Board within the NSW and ACT Synod of the Uniting Church. The Synod has entrusted the Board with responsibility for the oversight of all and governance of some of the Church’s community welfare services. In February 2014, the Synod Standing Committee approved the move from three Boards to one new UnitingCare NSW.ACT Board. This represented a significant time in the history of UnitingCare. One Board, one UnitingCare, streamlined
governance ensuring resources are optimally focussed on achieving our purpose.
