Peter Worland, Interim Executive Director
Peter Worland has overall responsibility for UnitingCare NSW.ACT and its community services across New South Wales and ACT. He represents strong public voice on issues of injustice in society and will actively advocate on behalf of the service users of UnitingCare. As well as being Interim Executive Director of UnitingCare NSW.ACT, Peter Worland is a lay preacher of the Uniting Church and has a history of working in community service organisations including the Australian and Victorian Council of Social Services and serving as the Director of Services at Wesley Mission in Victoria.

Sandra Black, Director Communication and Marketing
BA (Comm.), MIABC
Sandra is presently the Director of Communication and Marketing for UnitingCare NSW.ACT where she oversees the strategic direction of communication and marketing for the organisation. Prior to this role, Sandra was in a senior management position responsible for communication, fundraising, research and social policy. Her career experience in the corporate, consultancy and non-for-profit sectors includes marketing, media, communication, advertising, publications and brand development.

David Makinson, Director Corporate Finance and Strategy
David Makinson began with UnitingCare in May 2010. A chartered accountant, David has extensive experience in the finance and banking sectors and has gained expertise from working in four different countries.
Denis Tamplin, Corporate Finance Manager
BEc., B.App.Sci(Agric), M.Comm., CPA
Denis Tamplin was appointed in April 2004 to manage UnitingCare’s accounting and finance. A practicing Christian, Denis is a member of several ecumenical organisations. He has had considerable commercial experience in positions as diverse as Financial Controller for Tamburlaine Wines, Executive Officer of the NSW Farmers Association, Deputy National Director, Australian Catholic Relief (now Caritas Australia) and National Research Officer for the St Vincent de Paul Society.
